Worship Notes:
Throughout the Christian community, there is growing concern in about the ecological crisis and the way human beings are treating God’s Creation. Planet Earth is in peril. All creation is suffering.
An effective way to focus these concerns is through worship. By
taking time to focus our worship on God’s creation and our relationship with creation, we can seek ways to heal rather than exploit creation. The intent of the season of Creation is to help us care for our planet home rather than destroy it.  During the next four weeks we will recognize the Season of Creation in our prayers while keeping to the Revised Common Lectionary for our scripture.
For four Sundays in September we celebrate The Season of Creation.
In 2014 We are in Series A: The Spirit Series
September 7     1st Sunday in Creation –  Forest Sunday
September 14   2nd Sunday in Creation –  River Sunday
September 21   3rd Sunday in Creation – Wilderness/Outback                                                                 Sunday
September 28   4th Sunday in Creation – Land Sunday
